Although there are technically three bonus features in Jungle Spirit, one of them would be more accurately be described as a randomly-occurring reel modifier, so we’ll discuss that first before we move on to the other two.

Butterfly Boost

The reel modifier is known as the Butterfly Boost, and fittingly it triggers whenever a butterfly decides to flutter its way across your reels. It only ever happens after you’ve found a win, but it isn’t guaranteed to happen on every win. If a butterfly decides to land on any of the symbols involved in that win, the symbol will respond by expanding across the entire reel. This will only occur when it’s possible for you to win more by having the symbols expand, so when you see it happening you already know you’re about to pocket at least a little more cash.

Expanding Symbols

Expanding Symbols are a recurring theme in the slot - as are butterflies. Some of the symbols will already have a tiny butterfly on them when they land. If they do - and they're involved in a win - they'll expand to cover their whole reel. Again, this only happens if there are wins to be found by doing it. This is very similar to the Butterfly Boost feature described above, and remains active during the free spins round.

Scatter Symbols

To get your Free Spins round, you’ll need to land at least three of the pink flower scatter symbols anywhere on the reels on the same spin. You now have a choice to make regarding how you’d like to play the round, and you’ll be presented with options based on all of the animal characters in the slot. Once you’ve chosen an animal, every single other animal symbol will be removed from the reels, replaced by added symbols matching your selection. Also, the reels will expand, taking on a fourth row.
